Job Summary
This role is ideal for an ambitious Junior PLC Programmer passionate about innovation and automation technology. Day-to-day responsibilities include the programming and commissioning of PLC control systems, specifically focusing on creating and maintaining control software. You will be responsible for integrating Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems for plant operation and monitoring, performing error analysis, and optimizing existing systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and meticulous documentation of software development are also key aspects. To succeed, you should have a completed technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation Technology, combined with basic knowledge of PLC programming tools like Siemens TIA Portal or CoDeSys. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation Technology; or Technician qualification in Electrical Engineering; or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Initial experience in commissioning automation systems on-site at the customer location (desired)
- Professional experience in creating and maintaining control software
- Experience in performing error analysis and system optimization
