PLC Programmer | SPS-Programmierer (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role is for an experienced PLC Programmer dedicated to advancing technology within the mechanical engineering sector by working on cutting-edge innovations for mid-sized clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include the development and implementation of complex machine and plant software, alongside the programming and parameterization of sophisticated drive and hydraulic controllers. You will manage the commissioning and optimization of machinery, perform detailed fault analysis, and coordinate technical interfaces with both national and international partners. A crucial part of the job involves extensive international travel, exceeding 50%, for customer assignments worldwide. Key qualifications include a completed degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent certification (such as a Certified Technician or Master Craftsman), profound knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., S7, TIA-Portal), practical experience with pneumatic and hydraulic actuators, and very good English skills, both written and spoken.
