Job Summary

This role is for an Electrical Design Engineer focused on the planning and construction of sophisticated electrical systems for industrial partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include the planning and project management of electrotechnical systems using software like EPLAN or similar tools. The engineer will be responsible for creating detailed circuit diagrams, cable lists, and parts lists, as well as developing documentation for switch cabinet construction and installation. A crucial part of the job involves dimensioning and selecting appropriate hardware components and ensuring technical coordination with project engineers and manufacturing teams. Candidates must possess a degree or technician certification in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, coupled with initial professional experience in electrical planning and design. Fluency in German and good English skills are mandatory for effective communication within the team and with partners.
