Job Summary

This role involves leading and managing the IT section within the Foreign Forces Payroll Office (LaS) in Kaiserslautern, a branch of the Supervisory and Service Directorate (ADD). The Section Manager will be responsible for Information and Communication Technology, Technical Data Processing, and Quality Assurance, overseeing a team of 11 employees. Key daily tasks include planning and coordinating activities, providing technical guidance to staff, managing the EDV system, and coordinating IT projects, specifically the current SAP system migration. A crucial component is ensuring system and process quality, developing the LNTAP system for payroll additions, and managing IT hardware procurement. This position is attractive due to its stability in the public service and the opportunity to drive significant IT transformation projects within a specialized federal payroll institution.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Computer Science (preferably from a University of Applied Sciences or equivalent)

Experience
