Job Summary

This role is for an Energy Grid Planner to join a renowned grid operator in Cottbus, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive grid calculations, including EEG connection assessments for generation plants over 1 MVA, short-circuit and load flow calculations using PowerFactory, and determining the most economically favorable feed-in/withdrawal points. Day-to-day tasks involve assessing voltage drops, equipment utilization, and transmission capacities, as well as updating technical statements and responding to inquiries. The position requires a strong background in energy grid planning, excellent German language skills, and proficiency with specific industry software.
