Job Summary
This role involves the technical setup and configuration of a Document Management System (DMS) for the Evangelical Church in Hessen and Nassau (EKHN). The consultant will focus on software architecture, load balancing, hosting requirements, capacity planning, scalability, and performance, ensuring technical solutions align with user needs. Key responsibilities include technical requirements analysis, system configuration, integration with pre-systems, user support, interface documentation, and planning for scalability. The position also involves coordinating with external service providers for new interface development, supporting IT security and data protection analyses (DSGVO), troubleshooting, and contributing to quality assurance and project planning. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional with strong technical DMS experience to contribute to a large ecclesiastical organization.
Required Skills
Education
University of Applied Sciences degree, Bachelor's degree, Professional Academy degree, or equivalent advanced training (e.g., Administrative Specialist)
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in IT, business administration, or administration
- Very good problem-solving skills in client environments and user interaction
- Very good knowledge in the technical setup of Document Management Systems (DMS)
- Good knowledge of IT applications, hardware, and networks
- Good knowledge of project management and describing complex issues
