Job Summary

This role involves developing embedded Linux functions using C++ for critical automotive and special vehicle applications, such as lane guidance systems in agriculture and image transmission. As a core member of the software team in Ulm or Böblingen, you will be responsible for the full development lifecycle, including integration and testing of new functions both through simulation and directly on the control unit. A key aspect of the role is hands-on, practical work, collaborating closely with HMI development teams to create holistic solutions and commissioning software directly on the vehicle to verify overall system functionality. Candidates must bring at least two years of professional experience in Embedded Linux development, strong proficiency in C++, and practical experience with modern development tools like Python, CMake, and Git. Fluency in German and good English skills are required for effective collaboration in national and international teams.
