Job Summary

This role is centered on optimizing and automating manufacturing processes for a leading global automotive supplier specializing in drivetrain components for both electric and classic vehicles. The Process Technologist will be responsible for identifying optimization potential, designing and implementing new production systems, and executing necessary program changes in PLC and robotics controls. A key focus involves optimizing camera and image acquisition systems used on production lines. Day-to-day tasks also include creating detailed specifications for new machinery procurement, commissioning equipment, developing necessary documentation for serial production, and assisting in the creation of process FMEAs. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical certification) and possesses several years of relevant experience, preferably within the automotive sector.
