This role offers a technical student assistant the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the critical field of drinking water networks and water resource management, working at a leading German research institute (IWW Zentrum Wasser). The assistant will collaborate closely with experienced staff on current consulting and research projects, focusing on the intersection of technical and economic issues in water supply. Day-to-day tasks include conducting technical work on pipe samples to assess pipeline conditions, supporting project work through data analysis, literature research, and helping to further develop the institute's services. This position is ideal for technical or engineering students interested in water supply, offering flexible part-time hours (approx. 10 hours/week) and practical insights into environmental analysis and sustainable water management.

Bachelor's or Master's degree (in progress) in a technical or engineering science field
Experience
- Enrollment as a Bachelor's or Master's student in a technical or engineering science degree program
- Interest in processing topics related to drinking water supply / drinking water networks
