Job Summary
This role involves defining and coordinating technical requirements for AC and/or DC charging paths in vehicles, focusing on components like control units, chargers, and charging sockets. The System Developer will be responsible for the electrical design of the charging path, ensuring compliance with current standards and safety regulations. A key aspect of the role is representing the MAN/Traton Group in national and international standardization bodies and professional associations. The position also requires maintaining complete series documentation across all development phases, conducting feasibility analyses for high-performance high-voltage charging systems, and developing a strategic component roadmap for charging infrastructure. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable field
Experience
- Several years of experience in high-voltage system development, ideally in the automotive sector
- Experience in designing power electronic systems and safety-relevant components
- Experience with agile development processes (e.g., Scrum) and interdisciplinary teamwork
