Job Summary

This role requires an EUV Development Engineer to join a high-technology company specializing in machine tools and laser technology. The core responsibilities involve comprehensive testing of high-power laser systems crucial for EUV lithography, covering planning, execution, and detailed data analysis. A significant part of the role includes modeling and simulation of optical system properties, utilizing tools such as Matlab and Python. The engineer will manage technical projects directly, guiding them from initial concept development through to final product introduction. Key qualifications include a Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant engineering or physics discipline (e.g., Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering), coupled with practical expertise in optics, laser physics, and optical measurement technology. The position demands strong communication skills in both German and English, high flexibility, and a willingness to travel approximately 15% between the Ditzingen and Jena sites to support an interactive and international team.
