Job Summary

This role is ideal for a dedicated professional eager to advance the sustainability agenda for a large North German housing cooperative with over 75 years of history. The Sustainability Manager will be responsible for the continuous development and implementation of the organization's sustainability strategy, ensuring all derived projects are executed effectively. Day-to-day tasks involve managing the annual reporting process according to established standards (DNK-VSME), contributing to the yearly CO2 balance sheet, and ensuring compliance with sustainability-related banking regulatory requirements. Furthermore, the role involves monitoring and reporting on milestones defined within the climate pathway. The ideal candidate brings a background in commercial or technical fields, professional experience in sustainability project implementation, and strong moderation and service orientation skills.
