Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing detailed technical specifications, programming, commissioning, and testing Board Support Packages (BSPs) for electronic control units. The developer will ensure optimal utilization of hardware architectures and FPGA control systems, conduct PLD/FPGA reviews during requirement analysis and design phases, and contribute to safety concepts and software strategies. Key qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, professional experience in aviation software development (e.g., RTCA DO-254), and expertise in common FPGA development tools.
