Job Summary

This role involves supporting the Manufacturing, Science & Technology (MSAT) Process Science team, focusing primarily on Upstream Processing (USP) fermentation within pharmaceutical protein manufacturing. The technician will execute small-scale cultivation of animal cells (up to 10L), perform comprehensive fermentation-accompanying analytics, and handle essential routine laboratory tasks, including occasional weekend shifts. Key responsibilities include ensuring GMP compliance by creating and revising lab-specific documentation and manufacturing instructions, meticulously documenting work steps, and conducting detailed data analysis of fermentation batches. The successful candidate will also maintain fermentation equipment, actively participate in Lean initiatives (like KANBAN), and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve process deviations, contributing significantly to the continuous improvement of biotechnological production methods.
