Job Summary

This role involves specialized electrical work within the civil aviation sector, focusing on the installation, modification, and maintenance of high-quality electronic systems in exclusive VIP aircraft cabins. Day-to-day tasks include installing electrical components (LRUs), routing cables, and connecting plugs strictly according to technical specifications. The technician will perform functional checks and modifications on sophisticated cabin electronics, ensuring the highest quality standards are met in collaboration with engineering and team leadership. Key requirements include a completed technical vocational qualification as an Avionics or Aircraft Electronics Technician, possession of a mandatory CAT B2 license, and EWIS Certification (Group 1 + 2). Candidates must also bring several years of experience in base or line maintenance and possess good English skills to succeed in this interdisciplinary environment, working flexibly both in the aircraft and the workshop.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical vocational training as an Avionics Technician, Aircraft Electronics Technician, or comparable qualification (e.g., Radio and Television Technician). Ideally completed CAT A Basic Knowledge training.

Experience

  • Several years of experience in base or line maintenance of aircraft
  • Professional experience in installing electrical components in aircraft cabins
