This role centers on the maintenance, automation, and continuous development of the internal Geographic Information System (GIS) and associated digital tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing applications and interfaces to optimize internal workflows, particularly in geodata management, map visualization, and project communication. You will actively contribute to the proprietary GIS tool using modern web technologies like React, Mapbox, and Supabase. Key requirements include a degree in Geoinformatics or a related field, coupled with 1–3 years of experience in GIS or web development. Proficiency in standard GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS) and a strong technical understanding of data structures and APIs are essential. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Geoinformatics, Geography, Computer Science, or a comparable field of study
Experience
- 1–3 years of professional experience in Geographic Information Systems, Geodata Management, or Web Development
- Experience in handling and preparing geodata using standard GIS platforms (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS)
- Professional experience with web development technologies (React, Mapbox, etc.)
- Technical understanding of data structures and APIs for system integration
