Job Summary

This role involves supporting the development of web-based front ends for AI-supported sustainability management applications within the Fraunhofer IAIS, a leading research organization. The Student Assistant will primarily contribute to front-end implementation using React, working within an agile Scrum team, and participating in deployment activities following Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles. Ideal candidates are currently studying Computer Science or a comparable field, possess good German language skills, and have initial experience building JavaScript-based front ends, preferably with React. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply academic knowledge to innovative projects in Artificial Intelligence and sustainability, providing flexible working hours (up to 20 hours per week) and a combination of remote and on-site work to accommodate academic commitments.
