Job Summary

This full-time role seeks an experienced Quality Manager specializing in Microbiology to join a pharmaceutical industry client in Idar-Oberstein. The primary focus is maintaining and enhancing microbiological quality control standards in compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include identifying and evaluating process deviations, initiating corrective and preventative actions (CCs and CAPAs), and ensuring the quality of testing instructions. The manager will proactively create and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs), risk analyses, and other critical documentation. A key function involves planning and coordinating testing and introducing innovative microbiological test methods to continuously improve analytical capabilities. Candidates must hold a scientific degree with a Microbiology focus, possess profound knowledge of microbiological methods, and have at least two years of relevant professional experience in the biotech or pharma sector. Excellent organizational skills and fluency in both German and English are mandatory for success in this role.
