Job Summary

The Energy Manager will play a crucial role in optimizing energy consumption across PENNY markets, a part of the REWE Group. Key responsibilities include conducting consumption- and operation-dependent vulnerability analyses using specialized energy management tools, and performing comprehensive energy checks, including planning measures, cost estimation, and calculating amortization for reduction initiatives. This position involves coordinating and controlling energy reduction measures related to HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical engineering systems. The ideal candidate possesses relevant professional experience in energy management, building/control technology, or refrigeration technology, coupled with strong technical understanding and a business-oriented mindset. Success in this role requires proficiency in MS Office applications, foundational knowledge of SAP/PM, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
