Day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring the stable, high-availability operation of extensive Windows and Linux server landscapes, managing associated patch and lifecycle processes, and overseeing virtualization environments utilizing key technologies such as VMware/vSphere and Citrix. The Service Lead is also responsible for managing and developing vital Backup, Recovery, and Storage systems, specifically involving tools like Veeam and NetApp. Success in this position requires a completed vocational qualification, such as an IT Specialist for System Integration, coupled with proven professional experience in server administration and environment optimization.
