Job Summary

This role is with one of Europe’s leading IT service providers, supporting a major client (Bayer AG). The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for comprehensive hardware and software support, focusing on diagnosing, analyzing, and resolving malfunctions across various device types. Key daily tasks include performing system maintenance, managing patches and antivirus updates, and maintaining crucial Support and GxP documentation. The specialist will also coordinate external manufacturers and suppliers, manage risk, and provide technical support for process services and asset management. Candidates must possess a completed vocational qualification, such as an IT Specialist for System Integration or an IT System Electronics Technician, or a degree in Informatics. Essential requirements include strong knowledge of network infrastructure, proven experience leading technical teams, and fluency in both German and English. This position offers an unlimited contract, excellent working conditions, and strong prospects for permanent employment with the end customer.
