Job Summary

This crucial role seeks an Engineer to train as an Expert Assessor for Steam and Pressure Technology within the TÜV Thüringen Industrial Service, focusing on safety, efficiency, and quality across various industrial sites (Arnstadt, Jena, Zella-Mehlis, Nordhausen, Essen, Leipzig, or Berlin). Day-to-day responsibilities involve rigorous training alongside experienced assessors, mastering national and international regulations (like BetrSichV and the Pressure Equipment Directive), and ultimately conducting independent assessments and inspections of pressure equipment across all life phases. The Assessor will generate official inspection certificates and contribute expertise to complex, interdisciplinary projects. Candidates must possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Technology, complemented by at least three years of relevant experience, ideally in a safety-critical or defense technology environment. Completed University Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Technology, or a comparable field of study

Experience

  • Experience or knowledge in the defense technology sector
  • Professional experience working with applicable technical regulations (advantageous)
