Job Summary

This is a key leadership opportunity for an Electrical Operations Manager to lead the Hannover site for a growing small switchgear manufacturer specializing in low and medium voltage systems. The successful candidate will initially manage a team of 3 to 4 employees, overseeing the assembly, wiring, and rigorous testing of switchgear and control cabinets destined for both domestic German and international export markets. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing staff, managing communication flow between customers and the Technologists GmbH management, and contributing to proposal generation and new employee selection. Candidates must possess a strong background as an Electrical Master Craftsman, Technician, or Engineer, coupled with practical experience in switchgear assembly and knowledge of protection technology. This role offers an indefinite contract and starts flexibly at 20-25 hours per week, with a clear path to full-time employment as the company expands its operations and partnership with entities like Siemens AG.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as Electrical Master Craftsman (Handwerk or Industrie), or qualification as an Electrical Engineering Technician, or Electrical Engineering degree.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the assembly and wiring of switchgear
  • Experience in guiding Electricians, Electronics Engineers, and Mechatronics Engineers during assembly processes
  • Knowledge of protection technology and products within low voltage switchgear
  • Preferred experience in medium voltage switchgear technology
  • Leadership experience (managing 3-4 employees initially)
