Job Summary

This role, based in Karlsruhe, is for a Metrology Technician focused on rigorous quality control within the manufacturing process, specifically for medical devices. The technician will be responsible for conducting precise quality checks and measurements on various materials, components, and products according to established specifications. A core part of the job involves programming and operating computer-controlled measuring machines, including Werth and Schut systems, analyzing and interpreting measurement data, and ensuring strict adherence to quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed measurement reports, documenting results, developing and maintaining comprehensive measurement concepts, and collaborating with other departments to resolve quality issues and optimize processes. The ideal candidate must possess completed technical vocational training, professional experience using 3D measuring devices, and fundamental knowledge in interpreting technical drawings.
