Job Summary

This full-time Commissioning Technician role is based in Kassel, focusing on the critical final stages of electrical locomotive production within the rail vehicle construction industry. The core responsibilities include the complete commissioning of electrical locomotives, requiring the execution of stringent high-voltage, functional, and pneumatic tests. A key duty involves performing demanding full-load tests on the railway infrastructure, specifically under 25KV conditions, and meticulously documenting all test results. Furthermore, the technician will be responsible for managing and conducting final acceptance procedures directly with customers. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as an Electrical Technician or Master Electrician, coupled with professional experience, ideally in the commissioning of rail vehicles or comparable large machinery. Fluency in written and spoken German is mandatory for internal communication and understanding technical programs, and flexibility for alternating shift work is required.
