Job Summary

This permanent position as an IT System Administrator in Langenfeld offers significant flexibility with up to 90% home office capability. The core function involves acting as the central point of contact for colleagues, providing essential 1st and 2nd level support across various devices including PCs, mobile endpoints, and the ERP system. You will be instrumental in maintaining and evolving the entire IT infrastructure, ensuring robust IT security standards are implemented, and providing training to end-users both individually and in groups. A key aspect of the role is actively shaping the future IT landscape by collaborating with departments to design modern workflows and improve internal processes. You will also develop small tools or interfaces utilizing HTML and PHP. Candidates must possess a completed qualification such as an IT Specialist in System Integration and ideally at least two years of professional experience in IT support or operations.
