Job Summary
This full-time role in Schwäbisch Hall seeks an experienced HMI/SCADA Software and Automation Engineer to drive digitalization within the international pharmaceutical sector. The primary responsibilities include the development and programming of machine-level visualizations and SCADA systems, ensuring successful commissioning of complex industrial plants. The engineer will also be tasked with standardizing and continuously developing existing base applications, configuring network systems, and implementing PC-based software solutions. A key component of the role is translating technical customer requirements into practical, team-based solutions. Candidates must possess a relevant technical degree or technician qualification, extensive experience in HMI/SCADA programming (using tools like Aveva InTouch or WinCC), and strong familiarity with Windows administration and network technology. This position offers a secure workplace and engagement in demanding, innovative projects, requiring occasional willingness to travel.
Required Skills
Education
Completed University Degree or Advanced Technician Qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Technical Informatics, or equivalent qualification.
Experience
- Extensive experience in HMI/SCADA programming
- Professional experience in the international pharmaceutical environment
- Experience with configuration and administration of Windows systems and network technology
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
