Job Summary
This role involves working as a Hardware Engineer for a leading engineering and power plant construction company located in Erlangen. The primary responsibilities include generating manufacturing documentation for control cabinets used in safety control technology, ensuring these align with functional requirements and qualified hardware platforms. Key technical tasks involve calculating critical parameters such as current consumption, power loss, and voltage drop, and estimating operating temperatures within the control cabinets. The engineer will also manage all generated documentation using a dedicated document management system and coordinate closely with manufacturing, testing (prüffeld), and commissioning teams to finalize customer documentation. Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Automation Technology, coupled with initial professional experience and strong proficiency in both German and English.
