Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated 3D CAD Application Support Engineer to ensure the seamless operation of the CAD and PDM system landscape for a leading client specializing in engineering and power plant construction in Erlangen. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the entire lifecycle of critical engineering software, particularly the AVEVA Toolsuite (E3D, Engineering, Diagrams), from gathering user requirements to successful system implementation. You will also provide essential user support, assist with software release changes, and strategically contribute to CAD/PDM projects to efficiently meet departmental needs. Candidates must possess a strong IT affinity, excellent technical expertise in the specified CAD/PDM systems, and a background of at least three years of relevant professional experience or specialized vocational training. Initial experience with electrical design systems, such as EPLAN, is highly beneficial.
