Job Summary
The Laboratory Support Technician will provide comprehensive technical and operational support to ensure the smooth and compliant functioning of laboratory activities, primarily located at a customer site in Ludwigshafen. Daily responsibilities involve the hands-on operation, cleaning, and preventative maintenance of specialized lab equipment, alongside performing routine checks and calibrations to guarantee accuracy. A core function of this role is the precise preparation of critical laboratory solutions, including GMP/GSP solutions, buffers, and reagents, strictly following established protocols. Furthermore, the technician manages the entire lifecycle of consumables, from ordering and KanBan tracking to inventory control and restocking. The role requires meticulous adherence to GMP/GSP regulations and safety guidelines, especially regarding the safe collection and disposal of chemical and pharmaceutical waste. Success requires technical training in Chemistry or Biology, professional laboratory experience, and fluent German communication skills. Experience
- Professional experience in a laboratory setting or equivalent experience

- Experience operating and maintaining laboratory equipment
- Experience in preparing buffers, reagents, and specialized laboratory solutions
Languages
Additional
- Role requires routine handling of chemicals and reagents. Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Must be able to perform physical activities including lifting and transporting laboratory consumables. Strict adherence to SOPs, GMP/GSP regulations, and safety guidelines is mandatory. Role is based at a customer site in Ludwigshafen.
