Job Summary

The Deutsche Bundesbank is seeking a highly qualified IT Risk Analyst to join the agile IT Risk Competence Center in Leipzig. This role is crucial for maintaining a stable financial system by focusing on the ongoing supervision of credit, financial services, e-money, and payment institutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing and assessing risk management processes, with a particular focus on operational resilience and operational risk. A key project involves participating in the implementation of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). The analyst will evaluate the impact of technical innovations on the financial sector and occasionally participate in banking business audits and supervisory discussions with institutional management and third-party IT service providers. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in (Business) Informatics or a relevant field combined with professional experience in IT security, possesses strong IT competence, and has excellent knowledge of international banking supervisory law (DORA, CRD, KWG, MaRisk, BAIT). Strong analytical skills and fluency in both German and English are essential for success in this influential position.
