The Technical University of Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) is seeking a motivated IT System Administrator to join its central IT Service Center (ITSC). This role is crucial for maintaining and operating the university's comprehensive IT infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing First- and Second-Level Support in both German and English, managing user accounts and access rights via MS Active Directory, and administering IT workstations and PC pools. The administrator will also be involved in the installation and operation of central hardware, software, virtualization environments, and participating actively in IT security and various IT projects. Key qualifications include a completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist) and strong knowledge of various operating systems (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android) and client applications (MS 365).
