Job Summary

This role involves supporting the development, testing, and certification of aircraft engines and gas turbines by managing the electrical infrastructure of test stands. Key responsibilities include the maintenance, servicing, and repair of electrical systems and test stand setups, coordinating external suppliers, and ensuring the electrical supply during test operations. A core function is acting as the Responsible Electrical Expert, overseeing safety assessments, and coordinating electrically instructed personnel to maintain workplace safety. The engineer will also be responsible for preparing and configuring electrical test systems for development projects and generating comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications and E-Plans according to DIN VDE standards. Candidates must hold a university degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and possess profound knowledge of electrical machines and medium voltage switching authorization.
