Job Summary
This role involves the administration and support of client/server, security, and network infrastructure within complex system landscapes. The specialist will provide technical and professional advice to departments on IT infrastructure matters, analyze and resolve complex IT problems, and contribute to the continuous development of IT operations. Key responsibilities also include managing and coordinating external service providers and handling IT infrastructure tickets (incidents and changes) with a service-oriented approach. The position offers an opportunity to support projects focused on introducing new technologies and innovations within the IT environment of the Leipzig public utility group, contributing to the city's sustainable development and energy future.
Required Skills
Education
University or technical college degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable specialized technical education
Experience
- Professional experience in planning, implementing, and operating complex IT infrastructures
- Several years of professional experience in IT, complementing academic qualifications

- Located in Leipzig, Germany. Full-time, 38 hours/week. Unrestricted work permit for Germany required. Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.
