Job Summary

This role involves critical infrastructure development for the City of Lemgo's roads and drainage department. The professional will be responsible for the conceptual project development of sewer and road construction measures, handling planning tasks, and managing the execution of service phases 6 through 9 of the HOAI (German Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers) for these projects. Key responsibilities also include assisting with verification of use reports and collaborating on the commissioning of external engineering firms, specialists, and experts. Candidates must hold a degree in Civil Engineering (Water/Traffic/Construction Management specialization), a certification as a state-certified Civil Engineering Technician (Deep Construction focus), or a Road Construction Master Craftsman qualification. Professional experience in municipal civil engineering is highly desirable, along with strong knowledge of public procurement and contract law. This position requires structured, independent, and results-oriented thinking, coupled with excellent communication skills.
