Job Summary

This Senior Software Architect role involves shaping the digital product landscape by taking ownership of and designing an effective, event-driven microservice architecture that fosters synergy across multiple product teams. The architect will define microservice boundaries, consistent domain models, and establish the technology stack, along with common architectural and coding standards to ensure high system quality, maintainability, and scalability. Key responsibilities include developing and communicating interface standards, supporting system integration, and driving continuous architectural and technical improvements, actively reducing technical debt. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or a related field, excellent knowledge of modern architecture principles (like Event-Driven Architecture), and at least five years of professional experience in software development and architecture. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, along with very good proficiency in both English and German, are essential for success in this international setup.
