Job Summary

This role seeks an Electrical Development Engineer to drive the future of high-power laser technology by developing electronic assemblies and components for multi-kilowatt laser systems, including power supplies, control units, and safety technology. The successful candidate will manage the entire development lifecycle, from initial lab concepts to production readiness, creating necessary technical documentation and supporting the manufacturing transition. A key aspect is analyzing and solving complex, interdisciplinary electro-technical challenges with creativity and a hands-on approach, including developing software for hardware-near systems. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, several years of hardware development experience, and fundamental knowledge of analog, digital, and power electronics. Experience with common layout design tools is required. Fluency in German and good English skills are essential for collaborating with internal teams and customers in this innovative, international environment focused on industrial material processing applications.
