Job Summary

This role is for an IT Specialist or IT Support Technician joining the IT/IT Security department of a city administration in the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis. The primary focus is providing essential First-Level Support and technical assistance to internal users regarding both hardware and software issues. Key daily tasks include managing the internal ticket system and handling electronic and analog filing processes. Candidates must possess a completed IT apprenticeship and professional experience in technical support. Essential technical skills include advanced knowledge of Microsoft environments, specifically Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2016, and core Microsoft Server services like Active Directory and Exchange. Proficiency in supporting various hardware, including PCs, media technology, multifunction devices, and Apple mobile devices, is also required, along with network and WLAN knowledge. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a stable public service career (TVöD remuneration) and flexible working hours.
