Job Summary

This pivotal role involves taking overall responsibility for all finance and controlling processes within a rapidly growing, highly automated premium pet food production company. The Head of Finance and Controlling will manage accounting, liquidity planning, and commercial business operations, focusing heavily on preparing monthly and annual financial statements compliant with HGB standards (German Commercial Code). Key activities include building and enhancing robust reporting and controlling systems, acting as the primary contact for banks, auditors, and investors, and serving as a strategic sparring partner to the management team on investment projects and financing rounds. Candidates must possess a degree in Business Administration or Finance, several years of relevant professional experience, strong HGB expertise, and proficiency with tools like Excel and DATEV. This position offers a central, key role with a direct path to the CFO position in a dynamic environment, allowing the incumbent to actively shape organizational structures.
