This role is for a proactive Field Service System Administrator based in Cologne, focusing on providing on-site technical support and administration for schools and business clients. The core responsibilities involve hands-on troubleshooting, independent analysis of IT disruptions, logging issues in a ticketing system, and implementing effective solutions. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and ongoing administration of client IT infrastructures. A key part of the job includes creating and maintaining technical documentation, training client IT contacts, and contributing to the development of digital products. The ideal candidate possesses a completed IT apprenticeship (like IT Specialist for System Integration) or several years of relevant professional experience as a career changer. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems, network support, and peripheral devices is essential, along with excellent German language skills and a Class B driving license for travel to client sites.
