Job Summary
This role involves establishing, implementing, and operating the Quality Management System (QMS) for official vehicle inspections within the Swiss Army Road Traffic and Navigation Office (SVSAA). You will be responsible for defining the Quality Management Handbook, drafting technical instructions, and developing guidelines for vehicle experts. A key aspect is analyzing existing processes to identify efficiency improvements and assessing technical developments in vehicle registration to determine necessary legal and procedural adjustments for the Army. Furthermore, you will play an active role in the training and continuing education of Army vehicle experts, delivering instructional content in both German and French. This position requires strong technical expertise in automotive engineering combined with excellent skills in quality and process management, negotiation, and conflict resolution, supporting the military authorization authority in ensuring safety and compliance.
Required Skills
Education
University of Applied Sciences Degree in Automotive Engineering or Higher Professional Education in the Automotive Trade, combined with further training in Quality and Process Management.
Experience
- Professional experience and further training in Quality and Process Management
- Experience with official regulatory documents and educational materials
- Demonstrated negotiation competence, conflict resolution, and assertiveness skills
- Experience in contributing to the training and continuing education of vehicle experts

- Certification as a Traffic Expert (Verkehrsexperte) according to Art. 65 of the Traffic Admission Ordinance for vehicle inspections is advantageous.
