Job Summary

This role places you at the forefront of medical advancement within the Medical Affairs department of BERLIN-CHEMIE, a leading international pharmaceutical company. As a Medical Science Liaison Manager covering the Southern Sales Territory, you will proactively shape the future of medicine by acting as a strategic partner and scientific representative for assigned pharmaceutical products. Your primary responsibilities include building and maintaining sustainable relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and medical experts, ensuring the scientific value of preparations is effectively communicated. Day-to-day tasks involve gathering intelligence on current medical developments, facilitating targeted knowledge transfer both internally and externally, and serving as the primary contact for university researchers and specialized centers. The position requires strong scientific acumen, excellent communication skills, and proven experience managing relationships with medical opinion leaders to drive projects like training, symposia, and data generation initiatives forward, ultimately improving patient care.

Required Skills

Education

Completed Master's degree, Diploma, or State Examination (preferably in Biology, Human Biology, or Nutritional Science). A Doctorate (PhD) is desirable.

Experience

  • Extensive relevant professional experience in pharmaceutical sales or the medical department
  • Proven experience dealing with medical opinion leaders
  • Professional experience in the fields of Cardiology, Lipidology, and Pulmonology (desirable)
