Job Summary
This role involves driving product development in Vehicle Engineering by focusing on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing accredited EMC tests for the automotive, industrial, and medical sectors. Key day-to-day tasks include evaluating test requirements, drafting test plans, generating comprehensive test reports, and managing data documentation. The position also requires handling calculations, creating proposals, and coordinating product certifications. Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, High-Frequency Technology, or related fields, coupled with professional experience in EMC testing and familiarity with relevant industry standards like CISPR25 and ISO series. Expertise in measurement technology and lab management systems is essential, along with strong communication skills in both German and English.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, High-Frequency Technology, Communications Engineering, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in EMC testing, ideally in Automotive, Industrial, or Medical sectors
- Knowledge of measurement technology and requirements for EMC tests (e.g., CISPR25, ISO standards)
- Initial experience in testing high-voltage components
- Experience in handling lab management systems and specific testing software
