Job Summary

This specialized engineering role focuses on the development, support, and validation of xPTO (Power Take-Off) systems within a High Voltage (HV) environment. Day-to-day tasks involve acting as a technical project lead, coordinating complex activities between internal departments, customers, and suppliers. A core responsibility is the planning, setup, and supervision of Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) tests crucial for system validation. The engineer analyzes test results, assesses performance, and derives optimization measures specifically to guarantee HV operational safety. Furthermore, the position supports the transition to series production, aligning technical requirements with procurement, production, and cost planning. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, possesses professional experience in system development and testing, and demonstrates strong expertise in HV technology and power electronics.

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in testing and system development
  • Professional experience in the automotive environment (ideally)
  • Knowledge in High Voltage technology, power electronics, and safe handling of corresponding systems
  • Experience using vehicle communication tools (CANoe, CANape or comparable)
