Job Summary

This role is central to the Global IT Advanced Analytics & Data Insights team at Ottobock, focusing on enabling the worldwide business through comprehensive Data & Analytics solutions. The Data Engineer will be instrumental in transforming the company into a data-driven enterprise, working within cross-functional Data Product Teams alongside Business Data Owners and Data Scientists. Key responsibilities include implementing data-driven solutions, developing modern data pipelines using tools like Azure Data Factory and Databricks, and integrating new internal and external data sources into the Azure Data Lake. The ideal candidate must possess a Master's degree in Computer Science or a quantitative field, coupled with at least five years of experience in the Azure Data Engineering stack or comparable cloud technologies (AWS/GCP). This position offers a dynamic team environment, focusing on continuous improvement and the development of smarter MedTech products.
