Job Summary

This role involves the independent planning, preparation, execution, and evaluation of complex chemical experiments within a safety laboratory environment, focusing on optimizing production processes for efficiency and safety. The specialist will operate various calorimeters and reactor systems, interpret results, and characterize chemical processes using standard analytical methods like NMR, HPLC, and LC-MS. A crucial part of the job is the autonomous management of projects aimed at process improvement and meticulous documentation of findings according to strict quality management guidelines (QM, TRGS/TRAS, DGUV). This position requires a Master's degree or equivalent engineering qualification, coupled with a PhD in Organic Chemistry or Chemical Process Engineering, strong theoretical knowledge in analytical and organic chemistry, and practical skills in demanding laboratory work, making it ideal for a highly qualified scientist focused on process safety and optimization.
