Job Summary

The VGH Insurance group is seeking a dedicated and qualified Tax Specialist to join their team in Hannover starting January 1, 2026. This role involves crucial support in preparing tax forecasts, tax balances, and tax returns for the group's companies. The specialist will consult and assist internal departments and subsidiaries with complex tax issues, prepare electronic tax registrations and balances, and analyze current national tax law challenges. A key focus will be on optimizing and developing tax processes and assisting with the implementation of Tax Compliance measures. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in economics or a comparable qualification with a tax focus, such as a Certified Tax Specialist or Tax Consultant, and holds fundamental knowledge of commercial, tax, and economic law.
