Job Summary
This role involves working within interdisciplinary project teams at the Cologne branch of the Bau- und Liegenschaftsbetrieb NRW, focusing on federal construction projects. The engineer will support or lead projects related to building maintenance and large-scale construction, contributing to the implementation of climate-neutral federal administration goals by 2045. Day-to-day tasks include managing the selection, contracting, and steering of external consultants, handling planning services according to HOAI (German Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers), and overseeing the procurement, control, and settlement of construction services. Candidates must hold a degree in Building Services Engineering or a comparable field, possess knowledge of relevant German construction regulations (HOAI, VOB, DIN), and demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills. Required Skills
Education
Completed University Degree (Diplom/Master/Bachelor) in Building Services Engineering, Building Technology, TGA, Smart Building Engineering, or comparable engineering field
Experience
- Professional experience in Building Services / Technical Building Equipment (TGA) is desirable
- Experience with relevant legal and construction regulations (HOAI, VOB, DIN)
