Job Summary

This role seeks a highly mobile Commissioning Engineer specializing in rail vehicles, particularly TRAXX locomotives, for an international company. Day-to-day responsibilities include initial and final commissioning, static and dynamic optimization, and conducting comprehensive functional tests on locomotives. The engineer will also be crucial in supporting type tests, engineering processes, and homologation efforts, while ensuring adherence to safety and standard processes (ECM, EHS). Responsibilities further extend to operational and warranty support and creating necessary documentation for overall testing. Key requirements include a completed electrical engineering qualification and professional experience in rail transport technology. The role demands excellent German and English proficiency, proficiency with MS Office, and a high willingness to travel internationally, primarily within Europe.
