Job Summary

This role is centered on the full lifecycle development and implementation of sophisticated Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) test systems, ensuring strict compliance with aviation regulations. Day-to-day tasks involve requirements analysis, design, implementation, and verification of these critical systems. The engineer will also be responsible for planning and executing maintenance, support, calibration, and fault analysis for existing infrastructure. A key component of the role is hardware-related software development, utilizing both Waterfall and agile methodologies, with specific implementation experience in Python, Matlab/Simulink, and C# for test automation. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering and demonstrate multiple years of practical experience in electrical measurement, control, and regulation (EMSR), alongside proficiency in German (Fluent) and English (Intermediate). This position offers the opportunity to work as a specialized test expert in Munich, contributing to the continuous improvement of cutting-edge testing methods for a leading global technology partner.

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field of study

Experience

  • Multiple years of practical experience in Electrical Measurement, Control, and Regulation (EMSR)
  • Multiple years of practical experience in software development
  • Experience in the development and service of Hardware in Loop (HiL) Test Systems
  • Experience in creating electrical circuits
  • Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools (e.g., Polarion)
  • Experience with Configuration Management tools (e.g., Subversion)
